Make Money Blogging – How To Sell Using Blogs

It’s true that I have a “regular” website, my so-called “main website,” which I first set up to sell my goods, in this case, men’s and women’s health products. It’s my workhorse, the source of most of my revenue. Most of my sales resulted from generic listings in the search engines, particularly Google.

It is actually quite simple, if you can use Microsoft Word, you can blog. In today’s world, since blogging has become so popular the programs are constantly evolving and improving. The programs are getting so user friendly that it’s almost unbelievable.

Advertising your blogs is much simpler than advertising your web pages. It is not necessary to submit your blogs to each search engine as you would do with your web pages. You can use pinging services to ping your blog whenever you make a posting. By pinging you inform several blog directories about your blogs and your new postings. You can also set your blogs to automatically ping whenever a new posting is made. This makes advertising your blogs a simple process. However, you can still go ahead and register with individual blog directories and search engines.

Keeping blogs up to date is always a big deal, especially for a blogger trying to update multiple blogs. If blogs aren’t updated readers may find other blogs to read. The internet is fast paced and people will no longer wait a long time to get their update if they can get it somewhere else. Managing time and setting a schedule for updates is the best way to keep multiple follow me updated.

One main reason I say this is because any good blog that will help you indeed will have loads of great content to read. The other reason is that the person running the blog should not be too obsessed with cheesy graphics.

If you’re a product-based business, always make sure they actually feature products on the blog before you pitch something. If they do, check their About section, their Contact section, and/or look for a Review Policy section. Most online blogs that accept product reviews or features list the information on how to pitch to them somewhere on the site.

What you should do is to add a donation button on your blogs. Tie it to a PayPal account. Through PayPal account, your readers can send you money (donation) as a token of appreciation and as an encouragement for you to keep blogging.

So if this is the first time you’ll ever make a blog for yourself, you don’t have to think twice. There are many free blog sites over the internet that you can possibly start with. Try to learn the ins and outs of blogging. After you have had the feel of it, you should be ready to get things working for you!
